Direct flights head to the country from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai and a number of connecting flights head out from Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Varanasi.
Many cruises are available for those who wish to make their travel more exhilarating and memorable, and most of them reach ports at Cape Town and St. Helena. Currently, there are no such cruises offered from the shores of India to South Africa.
The countries well-maintained roads and infrastructural facilities make it a favourite for those who love travelling by road. Several car rental options are available at the major cities which often prove to be inexpensive and add to the adventure of driving through miles of rolling countryside unlike any other country.
