Kenyan Shilling ( /-)
The landscapes of Kenya are a cornucopia of discoveries and surprises. On one hand you will find the high mountain peaks capped in snow while on the other you would find yourself at a beach fringed by swaying palms. You can get lost in lush jungles of Masai Mara or find yourself lost in a maze of people in Mombasa; there is no experience impossible in Kenya. The cultural pulse of the country and its economic beat can be found in Nairobi.
Kenya’s most beautiful sight, however, is its people. The Kikuyus, Maasai, Samburu, and the Turkana have lent it a unique character that sets it apart from any other destination you have witnessed. Surviving against all odds in an environment that is harsh and unforgiving, they have managed to not only keep nature and wildlife in perfect balance. The country also has some of the strictest laws in the world regarding wildlife preservation and conservation. It was among the first destinations to enlist the help of armed rangers for the protection of its endemic species.
